From Emily:
Angela and I just spent a whirlwind 48 hours in New York City for our Spring Summer 2026 buying trip. The weather was beautiful, the city was buzzing, and it was the perfect time to see the newest styles for the upcoming season. Here’s a little sneak peek of what’s to come!
Our first stop, right off the train Friday night, was Thai Diner on Mott Street. To our surprise, there was no wait! The Stuffed Cabbage Tom Khaa is something I dream about every time we visit NYC, though honestly, you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. It was the perfect start to our weekend.
The next morning we tried to get an early start, though Angela had a minor adventure on the High Line... the exit staircase where we planned to meet was under construction. Once we found a usable staircase, we made our way to two of our favorite tradeshows: Brand Assembly and Designers & Agents.
We spent the day meeting with some of our favorite brands and discovering a few exciting new ones. We spotted new sets from Sonderhaus, everyday essentials from Paper Label, and fun new colors and cuts from Callahaan, along with many other brands we love. We also found a few fresh names we can’t wait to bring to the shop next year, including a breezy new linen brand perfect for summer picnics and other labels with just the right touch of something special for evenings out.
It was a whirlwind, but full of inspiration and excitement. We can’t wait to share all the new styles with you in the Spring Summer 2026 collection—stay tuned for a season full of effortless style and fun surprises!
