Rujuta Sheth is based in New York City, where she lives and works, but her frequent travels continually shape her creative perspective. Born in India, she was immersed from a young age in a world of artisans, surrounded by weavers, beaders, and embroiderers, which continues to influence her work today. When she launched her namesake line in 2015, she returned to those roots, drawing deeply from the craftsmanship and creativity she grew up with.
Sustainability is not just a feature of the brand, but a guiding principle. Rujuta is committed to thoughtful production practices, working closely with artisans and focusing on quality over quantity. Each piece is designed with longevity in mind. Meant to be worn often, styled effortlessly, and kept for years to come. It’s a slower, more intentional approach to fashion that values both people and process.
