Zapotec Coasters - set of 4
Description
We met Oscar Perez on our trip to Oaxaca, Mexico. He's a fifth generation weaver and natural dyer in the
Teotitlan del Valle. He graciously welcomed us into his home/ studio and ran us through the process of dyeing and weaving. From getting the fiber, making it into yarn, naturally dying, and then to the loom. He had rugs, pillows, tapestries, and so much more that he had created!
We brought back a selection of coasters just for the store.
Each set is in different geometric motifs used amongst the Zapotec weavers.
